Notes About Mobile Shelving Units:
   
  1 - Cart loads = The maximum load on the caster sets selected or 1000 lbs whichever is less.
  2 - For heavy duty mobile applications consider using a Dolly Base with HD Plate Casters.
  3 - The first shelf must be located at the bottom of the shelving cart for stability.
  4 - Do not construct carts with shelves less then 18" X 36" and post height in excess of 63".
  5 - Place heavy objects on the lower shelves and maintain an even distribution of weight.
  6 - Use caution when moving heavily loaded carts. heavy loads are hard to control
  7 - Use two people when moving carts with all swivel casters to assure control and stability.
  8 - Always push mobile carts in the forward long direction. Do not push carts sideways.
  9 - Inspect casters regularly and replace worn or questionable ones immediately.
10 - Do not step, stand or climb on shelving units and or shelving carts. They will tip over.

Notes About Starter Shelving Units:
   
  1 - Shelving unit capacity must not exceed the manufacturers specifications. See catalog.   
  2 - All shelf capacities are rated as evenly distributed loads. Consult the catalog for ratings.
  3 - Always be aware of the shelf weight carrying capacity Do Not Overload The Shelves    
  4 - The first shelf must be located at the bottom of the shelving unit for stability.   
  5 - Do not construct shelving units less then 18" deep and or with posts in excess of 86".   
  6 - Shelving units 14" deep or less must be secured to each other and a rigid wall.  
  7 - Place heavier objects on the lower shelves and maintain an even distribution of weight.
  8 - Shelving posts come with leveler bolts in order to balance and adjust for uneven floors.
  9 - Use post clamps where possible and secure shelving to a rigid wall where applicable.
10 - Safety is the word of the day. Consider it whenever planning a shelving application.
11 - Always reference our catalog when planning a shelving layout. Follow our designs.
12 - Do not step, stand or climb on shelving units or shelving carts. They can and will tip over.
